Two long throw stadium speakers were mounted on the football scoreboard for the Riverdale outdoor sports complex. (Football, Baseball, Track) Each stadium style speaker features a 15" woofer and high efficiency horn driver. The two speakers are intelligible to a distance of over 700 feet. Music sounds great through these full range speakers with rich bass response avoiding the typical "tinny horn" sound often associated with outdoor venues. The Riverdale system covered an adjoining baseball field and athletic track without additional infrastructure cost. The PA system is operated from within the Press Box.
