Lifeline designed and installed a large format sound system for Dalzell Field, which hosts nearly all major football and track events in the city of Dubuque. The client required an “environmental impact study” provided by Lifeline’s Scott Wright via the E.A.S.E. (Electro-acoustic Simulator for Engineers) computer program after frequent “noise” complaints by neighboring homes caused by the old sound system. Lifeline provided a solution that minimized the audio “spill” from the field to neighboring homes while meeting voice intelligibility standards for several thousand fans. |
